The Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, is the pride of the South-East of the Niger. A premier institute of ages, it has a tradition of uniqueness and prestige. It's status quo is among equals.

Today, this tradition speaks louder under the watch of the Rector, Professor Austin Uchenna Nweze, and the Council-led Chairperson, Deacones (Chief) Mrs. Ifeoma Nwobodo.
The Institute is currently bathed with multiple infrastructures including roads, office blocks, new academic complex, like School of Communication Arts, classrooms, renovation works, and other TetFund assisted projects as clearly demonstrated on the video clip.
The present crops of leadership in IMT Enugu are the brains behind the series of success recorded in accreditation of various programs in the Institute at recent times.The climax of these achievements was the affiliation of some institutes' programs with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, for degree courses.
The state government led by the Executive Governor, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has kept the flag flying. He has been actively supportive to the present administration in the Institute.
The video shown here presents scenario of a great institution. And only few days ago, the Engineering team of the Department of Electrical and Electronics, presented to the Management with sets of Hand washing machines duly constructed by staff and students association to boost the campaign against pandemic in the Institute.
Besides, the Management has concluded plans for an Online lectures pending when the schools will reopen nationwide. The staff had similarly been trained to embark on this exercise. This is a commendable venture of visionary leadership. Besides, the new face of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, could be told by Angels and Saints alike as good things usually make a difference.
As the Psalmist often prayed, may the Lord help us to understand the God's promise to mankind so as to demonstrate his work. And this is what our amiable Rector and his team are doing. Asked to reveal the secret of his success on a Radio Nigeria program few weeks ago, the professor of accounting would attribute their success to God.
Secondly, he was proud to say that he is a Chartered Accountant, his Bursar, a Chartered Accountant, and the Chairman of Council, a Chartered Accountant, stating that he did not expects any other magic, but excellent.
The staff and students are indeed proud of the Governing Council, Management and the State Government.
