164th EMERGENCY ACADEMIC BOARD MEETING
An emergency meeting has been scheduled to hold on Wednesday 6th of May 2020.
This meeting is supposed to deliberate on the issue of online lecture.
Kindly note that, the meeting is mandatory for all Directors of School, Head of Departments and Chief Lecturers.
Agenda: Ratification of the proposed Online Teaching and Learning System by Academic Board.

ReplyDeleteMy problem is that people were opportuned to get admission into the university doesn't mean they are opportune to have a smart phone or a subscription to be online studying for as much as the lecture goes on..
and what of those that 80% of their courses or rather the course they are studying are based on practical aspects does that mean they will lock behind

ReplyDeleteThere's some people that doesn't even understand class lecture talk less than online lecture,how will they succeeded??now coming to Android phone 80% of the students don't have Android phone and you can't expect them to use the money they will use and feeding them selves to use and buy phone talkless than Data,we are not saying that online lecture is not fine ,is fine if government are going to provide all our needs for the online lecture then we can go for it... thanks

I'd encourage you all to think about yourselves before thinking of others
which one is 80% of the students don't have access to andriod phones [not even the smart-type] ,Lets be realistic if we continue to wait for all Nigerians to agree to one thing in this country ,such thing will never come to be in place .
so i'm of the opinion [which i know the mgt. will never listen to or seek for our opinion tho LOL] that they [the sch mgt.] should start Pre-Online lectures already so we'd start making amends .
Are we still going to write our exams online?
ReplyDeleteThis online lecture wont work at all, am sending this massage to the management of this great institution , to please council this online lecture of a thing. Because of this covid 19 pandemic, most families including our student has travelled to the village, and had no internet or steady power supply to attend this, and most don't have smart phones, or even have have money to buy data to participate on this lecture so please am pleading on behalf of my fellow students, to pause this lecture immediately
