Ugwuaji Awkunanaw Community appreciates Gov. Ugwuanyi in an open letter
His Excellency, Ifeanyi Ugwanyi was commended for establishing an Administrative panel of inquiry. This panel was set up with the sole aim of looking into the encroachment and balkanization of large piece of land.
Also praying that those who have been placed to oversee the panel, are men who are accountable and embroidered with integrity.
Going further, the letter gave evidence of all land dispute issues between different communities and where they where settled.
The letter read thus;
"Your Excellency, Sir,
AN OPEN LETTER OF APPRECIATION
The attention of Ugwuaji Awkunanaw has been drawn to a baseless attempt at smearing the good image of Your Excellency and that of your government, which are trending on the social media, from the Ogui Nike Community.
Ugwuaji Awkunanaw writes to appreciate Your Excellency for setting up the Administrative Panel of Inquiry for an inquest into the perennial criminal trespass, encroachment and balkanization of large parcels of land of Ugwuaji Awkunanaw by some criminal elements of Ogui Nike, in collaboration with the dissidents of Ugwuaji who could sell their mothers for a plate of porridge.
The Ugwuaji Community appreciates Your Excellency in reference to the Community’s letter of 1st August, 2020, received in your office on 5th August, 2020, particularly prayers number iv and vi, besides other prayers. Copy attached.
Your Excellency, Ugwuaji Community supports the Administrative Panel, unflinching, hoping, praying and believing that the constituents of the Panel are men of integrity.
Your Excellency, Sir, it may interest you to know that the parcels of land under reference and consideration are pieces of land over which Ugwuaji had defeated Iji Nike since 21st March, 1927 Suit Number 49, Nkanu Native Court; defeated Amagu Obeagu in Suit Number E/44/70 at both first instance and appellate courts; defeated Amechi Awkunanaw Community in Suit No. CA/E/214/85 at both first instance and appellate courts, etc. Evidence would be tendered before the Administrative Panel to support the claims by Ugwuaji Awkunanaw.
CONCLUSION:
Your Excellency, Sir, Ugwuaji hopes and prays that the outcome of the Administrative Panel of Inquiry will forever rest:
Criminal encroachment;
Criminal trespass
Criminal balkanization
Forceful acquisition
False ceding of the land and
Swindling of the unsuspecting public.
