Enugu State Government on the brink of facing a #50,000,000,000.00 (Fifty billion Naira ) lawsuit for demolishing a lawyer’s property
Enugu based legal practitioners Chinedum Agwaramgbo, Esq. and Oscar Mba, Esq. have issued a three month pre-action notice to the Government of Enugu State, the Attorney-General of Enugu State, and Enugu State Post-Primary Schools Management Board for what the lawyers referred to as, “illegal, malicious, malevolent, land grabbing acts by the government of Enugu State.”
Chinedum Agwaramgbo, Esq. spoke on behalf of her clients that pre-action notices authored by sixteen lawyers have been dispatched to the Government of Enugu State and its agents.
She maintained that her client erected structures on his land at Town Union Layout, Ugwuaji, in Enugu State before it was demolished without regards to the rule of law.
She urges the state government to offer restitution to her client or face legal action wherein they shall be claiming N50,000,000,000.00 (Fifty Billion Naira) in damages.
